Question:

For a 2021 Honda CRV non-Hybrid, will installation require lowering of the exhaust like other brands?

Yes, that is correct Reed. You will have to lower the exhaust to install the B&W Hitch item # BW97BR on your 2021 Honda CR-V. I have linked a screenshot below from the instructions that shows this step.

The B&W Hitch item # BW97BR is custom fit for the 2021 Honda CR-V. It is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver that has a 4,500 lbs towing capacity and a maximum tongue weight of 675 lbs.

What do you plan on using the hitch for?

Hi, It will be used mainly for a dual bike carrier with two ebikes. Maybe a very small open trailer from time to time with a couple hundred pounds of items. Reed

@ReedP Looks like you're ready to go then. I saw your orders and to round out your towing setup, I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
