What Pigtail Fits the Reese TowPower 8508211 on My 2007 Dodge Ram Pickup?
Question:
I have a 2007 Dodge Ram pickup. I am installing a 8508211 Reese Towpower brake controller. Is there a pigtail made by Reese that I can use to connect the controller to the factory wiring harness? Thank you

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes! The pigtail that you need for your Reese TowPower 8508211 is the Replacement Brake Control Plug-In Harness for Tekonsha and Draw-Tite Brake Controller 12" Long # 20127. This harness must be spliced into your wiring. We do not have a plug-and-play solution that works.
In order to prep your 2007 Dodge Ram for use with a brake controller, you also need to have a 4-way harness and a 7-way harness installed already. If you don't have these, the parts you need are the T-One 4-way # 119178KIT and the # ETBC7. With the T-One, this has a much higher quality converter box than the Hopkins option. The # ETBC7 splices into your factory wiring in order to provide you with everything you need to use your controller.
I went ahead and attached some super helpful installation videos for you.
