The newer Chevrolet and GM pickup trucks have a known power deficiency issue with the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System w/ Side Marker Light Cameras # FCE48TASL-05.

There is likely nothing wrong that you did, the problem is the truck does not provide enough power on the running light circuit.

Furrion has recognized this as a widespread issue and has released the 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter w/ Power Switch for Furrion RV Observation Camera # FR87PR to mitigate the issue.

All you need to do is plug the male side into your vehicle's 7-way, and plug the power cord for your RV into the other side of the adapter.

This should fix the issue you're experiencing. I have also attached an installation video showing you how to do this.

@BradR Brad, the no signal you're getting is due to an interruption in the power wire. The adapter will provide the correct amount of power, but if there is an issue with the power wire then you're still going to get the error. I'd recommend checking that out first before doing anything and see what's happening.

Hi - I have a 2025 GMC Sierra 2500 and a fifth wheel with the pre-installed furrion backup camera prep. Experiencing in the same problem and I'm guessing it's the same issue. No power or intermittent power at best. There are some other threads out there that say the seven way power adapter you're speaking of here creates a whole other set of issues for GMC trucks equipped with the advanced trailer towing package, which I would think would be pretty common for anyone planning to tow a trailer. Is that in fact the case or not? Should I try to purchase this adapter and see if it works or is this known issue more complicated with trucks equipped with the advanced trailer towing package?
