Based on the information I can find on your Dexter 8-243 hub it appears it is for a 3500lb axle and uses standard 3500lb bearings which are inner bearing # L68149 and outer bearing # L44649 but I recommend confirming this first.

You can confirm your bearing combination by removing one of your hubs and looking for the bearing numbers stamped in the face of each bearing as shown in the included picture of the # L44649.

If your bearings are worn to the point that you cannot read the bearing numbers then you will need to use digital calipers # PTW80157 to precisely measure your spindles in the areas shown in the included diagram.

If your hubs do in fact use the # L68149 and # L44649 bearing combination you can use idler hub # 84545BX you were looking at as a replacement. You could also use hub and drum assembly # 84546UC3-EZ and braking assemblies # AKEBRK-35-SA if you are wanting to add trailer brakes.

For these combinations you can use as wheels that are 13" or larger. I couldn't make out the size of your current tires, but if you can send the size to me I would be happy to confirm the correct size to fit your trailer.

I included videos of the products mentioned and a link to all of our wheels and tires that use the 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern which the above hubs use.
