The maximum tongue weight capacity for a 2020 Kia Sorento V6 is 350 lbs. This is the figure provided in the owner's manual so that is the bottom line. The trailer hitch options for this vehicle do offer tongue weight capacities greater than 350 lbs but you will still need to abide by Kia's rating as that is all the vehicle is rated for. The trailer hitch is tested separately of the tow vehicle.
For a trailer hitch, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75908 is what I recommend. I would also recommend adding the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56332 for tow package or part # 118583 for no tow package and the etrailer Ball Mount Kit part # 989900 to complete the towing setup.
The 2020 Kia Sorento cannot support a weight distribution system.
