Hitch and Wheelchair Carrier for Drive Medical ZooMe 3 Electric Scooter on 5th Wheel Trailer

I am looking for a carrier for the back of my 5th wheel to carry a 3 wheel Zoome 3 scooter. It is 27inch wide at the back wheels an about 41inch long, and it weighs about 110lbs. I have a ladder mounted on the back of the trailer and it projects out about 7inch that may hit the top of some carriers. This is a difficult location because any the carriers with a fold up ramp will hit the ladder on the 5th wheel. What do you suggest?

The Drive Medical ZooMe 3 electric scooter is fairly lightweight at 78-lbs and the dimensions you quoted (which I confirmed in their published specs) will work well with a ramp-equipped hitch-mount carrier.
Your photo does not show a hitch on the trailer so we'll start there. You'll want to use a frame-mount hitch with a 500-lb tongue weight (TW) capacity and we have several you can see on the linked page. These differ in terms of the RV frame width they'll fit; each fits a slightly different range and all are adjustable. Check your trailer frame width between the outsides of the frame rails to determine which will fit best. Hitches # C13702 and # C13701 can be welded or bolted on while the others are bolt-on only. Hitch # C13701 also happens to be the one choice that gives you 2-inches of height drop in the receiver opening which can help it clear a bumper or other RV trim. You'll know if you need this drop style hitch once you look under the trailer.
Flint Hill Goods 30x50 Cargo Carrier # FHG77ZR will fit well in this hitch, and it has enough interior space for the ZooMe to fit nicely. The carrier has much more weight capacity than you'll actually need so this gives you a nice safety margin. You'll need some tie-downs and perhaps a cable lock to hold and secure the scooter. I recommend parts # ETBMB-05852 and # e98891.
The Flint Hill Goods carrier provides 14-inches of clearance from its hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the carrier so keep this in mind as you look at the trailer frame for determining where the hitch will mount. You'll want to ensure there will be enough room for the carrier to clear your rear ladder.
