Is this carrier rated for use in the 2inch receiver on the rear of my 5th wheel camping trailer? The receiver is rated for 300 lbs, and I plan to carry a 120 lb generator.

The cargo carrier we have which is approved for use behind a trailer is the Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier # CC-100. This carrier fits 2" hitches and measures 8" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the platform.
It is 60" long x 23" wide and has pre-drilled holes along its raised edges for tie-downs. I do recommend using the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 63232 to lock your carrier to your hitch and minimize the amount of rattling you'd experience. You may also want to check out the Ratchet Tie-Down Straps w/ Safety Hooks # EM01416 to secure your generator to the cargo carrier.
