Question:
We have a Coleman Lantern 17FQ with a spare tire. I want to put a bumper receiver for a 2inch Hitch 2-Bike Rack on our trailer. Is the 4inch bumper heavy enough to handle it?

Expert Reply:
As long as the 4-inch bumper you have on your Coleman Lantern 17FQ is fully boxed on all sides and is connected directly to the frame of the camper you should be fine, but you'd want to check with Coleman to see if they have a hitch capacity for the vehicle.
If so, then the Ultra Fab bumper hitch part # UF35-946402 would be a great option for a bike rack. You'll need a bike rack confirmed for the rougher ride quality at the rear of a camper though. For that we have the Swagman E-Spec # S94FR which would work well for carrying up to two bikes. It can carry 2 bikes up to 60 pounds each. Check out the attached video to see it in action.
