Adding Reverse Lights To Semi Trailer 48 Foot Flatbed Through Connecting to 7-Way
Question:
If I wanted to install reverse lights on my semitrailer 48’flatbed what connection to I come off of on the 7 way?

Expert Reply:
If you use the 7-way that is used for commercial/industrial/agricultural application like # PK11720 or the RV/standard 7-way like # HM47210 you will need to utilize the same location. The reverse signal should be connected to the center location of either application.
You will simply need to make sure your wiring corresponds with the function locations. I've attached a photo to assist. For a 7-pin that normally does not have a reverse light, that means utilizing the auxiliary in the middle for that function.
