Trailer Wiring Fit for 2015 Audi Q7 without Trailer Wiring Connector
Question:
I have a 2015 Audi Q7 with a hitch. Does this mean it came with the towing package? I understand this impacts which wiring adapter I purchase for trailer lights.

Expert Reply:
Under nearly all circumstances if a vehicle came from the factory with a trailer hitch it would have the factory tow package. But typically if the vehicle does not have any trailer wiring then that would mean it may not have it. Otherwise you can contact an Audi dealer with your VIN and they will be able to tell you if you have it or not.
If your 2015 Audi Q7 does not have any trailer wiring then the correct wiring kit you would need would be the part # 119250KIT as this is the recommended wiring kit for your vehicle if it does not have trailer wiring.
