Question:
Im wondering what the difference is between the Curt 45250 and 45260. All the specs look to be the same. Is it just a different style? Thanks for your help.

The two ball mounts from Curt # C45250 and # D-26 also known as 45260 are very similar but there is a small difference along with the different style you noticed.
The # D-26 has a center of hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole length of 12-5/8 inches while the # C45250 has 12-1/4 inches. That 3/8 distance might allow for better bumper clearance for a particular vehicle.
Both are Class III ball mounts, both will fit 2 inches hitches, they both have the same weight capacity and rise and drop.
The Curt # D-26 looks to be the more popular ball mount among our customers and it price quite nicely too.
I have linked both ball mounts to this page for your convenience.
