Question:
What is the difference between the Falcon and the Falcon 2 Towbars

Expert Reply:
The original Falcon tow bar, the Falcon 5250, has been discontinued for a few years now and was replaced by the Falcon 2, # RM-520 with upgraded components. Otherwise it functions basically the same was as the original Falcon. Both are RV mount tow bars, both have the Autowlok system and telescoping arms. The Falcon 2 has a higher capacity at 6,000 pounds.
There is also the Falcon All Terrain tow bar, # RM-522. It is also rated for 6,000 pounds. The advantage it has is that it is a non-binding tow bar. The Freedom Latch feature allows for easy disconnection in any environment/terrain so you won't have to be straight and level. The All Terrain model also feature safety cable guides to hold the cables so you won't have to wrap them around the tow bar arms.
I have included links to video reviews on both the Falcon 2 and Falcon All Terrain for you.
