How long does it take to install? What does a shop allow?

Expert Reply:
The manufacturer, Roadmaster, does not provide an install time or even a range for that matter of their base plate kits such as the Roadmaster Base Plate Kit part # RM-521453-5 because there are just too many variables involved.
That said, when we schedule installs for a set of base plates we generally allot around 4-6 hours in order to do so. The process for your Jeep Wrangler is a bit easier than most so I would say 4 hours give or take is a good estimate.
