Tips for Reducing Sway When Towing Ice Castle Fish House RV Trailer
Question:
I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton pickup truck - I just recently purchased an ice castle fish house 8x21 foot with 4 ft V - looking for the best sway control bar to reduce the sway and keep the vehicle straight and take weight off the rear end of my pickup truck - I believe the weight is 6700 lbs for the ice castle!

I looked up pictures of the coupler setup of your trailer and it would not be compatible with a weight distribution system since it basically uses a pole tongue and has a pipe that runs on top of the pole tongue as well.
What you can do to fight sway is make sure that you have the trailer setting as level as possible when you are towing. (See help article on how to pick out the correct ball mount to allow this).
Most sway is due to not having enough tongue weight relative to the total weight of the trailer. You want the tongue weight to be 10-15 percent of the total trailer weight but when it is too light you end up with sway. If you can move any heavy items in the trailer forward this should help quite a bit.
To help with suspension sag on your 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 you could use the Timbren system part # TGMRCK15S which will provide you with additional suspension support when you are towing. I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
