Question:

I have a 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 X31, would I use the same as the AT4 since mine came with a lift as well? The recommended part number for the AT4 is AL88388. Thanks

Hello David, thanks for getting in touch. The 2019 GMC 1500 AT4 has a 2" lift, and the # AL88388 kit you mentioned has taller brackets to fit the 2" lift. I looked up the X31 model and it does say it has offroad suspension, but it didn't mention any lift, or say exactly how much lift is added with this model. If the X31 has the same 2" lift as the AT4 model, the # AL88388 kit will fit. If it is not a 2" lift use the # AL88288 instead.

Thanks Jesse but mine has a 4 inch block between the axle and springs so I guess it's not the standard X31? Came with 35 inch tires also. Anyhow, I read the below question on your site so would I purchase the same if I have the same distance, although 8 1/2 - 5 1/2 = 3 inches, not 4 as stated below? These springs have a load leveling capacity of 5,000-lbs, an adjustable air pressure range of 5 to 100 PSI, and is made in the USA. However, in order to determine which spacers are needed you're going to need to measure the distance from the upper and lower brackets and subtract the air spring's height which is 5-1/2". So if your distance was 8-1/2" you'd then subtract the 5-1/2" spring height and would be left with 4", which would mean the Air Lift Universal Air Spring Spacers for LoadLifter 5000 and 7500XL # AL52440 is the correct spacer. expert reply by: Bryce D

@DavidV Ok it sounds like you may have an aftermarket lift. The # AL88288 is going to be the correct kit and the 4" spacer # AL52440 will be what you need. You can always install the brackets and measure the gap to be sure. A 4" lift does not always equal a 4" spacer, so most times I do recommend you measure to be 100% sure. The 4" spacer is most likely what you will need tho.

@DavidV That is generally what we recommend doing, yes. Not all lift kits are the same so 4" lift does not necessarily equate to a 4" spacer. The 4" is likely what you will need but the only way to know for sure is to install the brackets and measure. I worked with a customer recently who claimed to have a 4" lift and ended up not needing any spacers.
