Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab

I am looking for a bolt on hitch for my 2002 Chevy Silverado, 1500 Extended cab short bed. I pull but 2,000 lbs. max load. Can you recommend a hitch for me?

I recommend going with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 13322. This custom fit hitch offers bolt-on installation so no welding or drilling is required. I have attached an installation video for you.
Although it sounds like you are a seasoned tower and probably already have the additional components needed for towing, I did want to mention our etrailer Ball Mount Kit, # 989900, just in case. This kit comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
