Which Hole On My Hitch Opening is the Hitch Pin
Updated 09/03/2020 | Published 03/26/2015 >
Question:
I purchased a two inch hitch and a bike rack. On the side of the hitch, there are two holes. Which hole do I put the bolt into? Also, is there a locking system that I can purchase for the bike rack.

Sounds like you have a hitch that is set up for a j-pin style of anti-sway.. The rearmost hole on the hitch opening will be a little bit larger and that is the correct hole to use for the hitch pin of your bike rack.
Most anti-rattle devices for bike racks are specific to that manufacturer and model of bike rack. If you email me back with the bike rack you have I can see what we offer that would work.

I have a reese cqt63144 4 bike carrier it's on a 1 1/4 hitch and it wobbles a bit because it is not exactly a tight fit ...it came with a anti rattle pin but still a little loose

I have a swagman xc2 and I bought the anti wobble pin but it's just a little bit small for the larger hole on my hitch, so my rack still wobbles. Do you have something better?
