Today on our 2013 Dodge Ram 1500, we'll be test fitting the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series roof rack with Aero crossbars, 59" inches in length, black in color, part numbers DA1500B, and DK043. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front crossbar onto the front of our roof. We'll then need to measure from the center of the door jam to the center of our crossbar. We'll measure this on both the passenger and driver's side of the vehicle to ensure the front crossbar is in its correct position. Once we've established this position, we can use the included Allen key to tighten down the black bolts on the inside of the feet, to secure the front crossbar to the front of our roof. Now you may want to alternate when tightening it down so that one foot doesn't favor one side of the vehicle.
With everything all tightened down and secured, we'll place our rear crossbar onto the rear of our roof. We'll then measure the crossbar spread. The crossbar spread is the measurement from the center of the front crossbar to the center of the rear crossbar. It is also an important measurement when choosing roof rack accessories. We'll measure the crossbar spread on both the passenger and driver's side of the vehicle to ensure both crossbars are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the roof.
Once we've established this position, we can again use the included Allen key to tighten down the black bolts to secure the rear crossbar to the rear of our roof. And with everything all secured and tightened down, that will complete today's test fit of the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series roof rack with Aero crossbars, 59" inches in length, black in color, part numbers DA1500B, and DK043, on our 2013 Dodge Ram 1500.

The shipping was less than stellar . Tforce sat on the items for 3 business days before finally calling . No tracking was provided for tforce till I called in to etrailer questioning why shipment went from ups to T FORCE . Driver from t force claimed he could not get into address location per length of his trailer . Had to meet driver at another address . Came back to original delivery address and fed ex freight was sitting in parking lot just fine ( had same size trailer as TFORCE ) . Tforce Driver was basically being lazy by not coming to original address . Hope etrailer changes shipping companies
Purchased for a Ram 3500 crew cab to transport my kayak while pulling a 5th wheel. Installation was fairly simple as long as you follow instructions. All the parts were correct and it looks good on the truck. The rack system feels robust and I'm sure will do its job as intended. Products arrive 3 days early!
The rack fit well and was easy to install. Seems to be made well. The problem is the amount of road noise. I never even put the basket on. It was so loud, it roared. I repositioned it several times but the noise was way too much and I finally just removed it. I spent a lot of money for the rack and the basket and now they are in storage. I wish it would have worked out better because I thought it looked really good.
Looks good. Fits good. Loads easy enough. I like the rear load rollers. My truck is tall and I am small. I pull the kayaks up into Thor bed and push them up the rest roller without too much difficulty. I have not traveled with them yet.
Ok… giving this item four stars as an overall view. The good: it fits a Jeep Wrangler perfectly. With the appropriate legs, it canvases across the entire roof of the Jeep with the legs attaching to the gutters. The bad: just a bit too noisy for my liking, even with the appropriate wind faring (I don’t expect absolute silence since I have a one touch sky top). The noise is not a big deal on short trips, but it was definitely driving my wife and kids nuts on a 2+ hour drive (stick some headphones on the kids, problem fixed)
In the future, I might switch it up from these square rails and go with something a bit more aerodynamic…
Installed this and 65" Vortex Areo crossbars on a 2015 RAM 5500 chassis cab/crew cab. It is listed to fit 1500 to 3500 RAM's and neither Rhino-Rack or etrailer would confirm it would fit the 5500. My research suggested there was not much, if any difference, between the 3500 and 5500 crew cab, so ordered it any way. Installation was relatively easy, fit seemed to be good and have made multiple 200-300 mile trips with a 75lb kayak. Good price, great customer service and fast delivery through etrailer.

All fit perfect on my RAM 2500. Easy to install! All came together perfectly with the crossbars and THULE Kayak holders!
Great product sturdy bars. Keep in mind anything you install on the bars needs to have longer bolts because of how big the bars are but that's a minor detail
Ordered a Rhino Rack for my 2014 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali. Rack arrived in very good shape and all items were there. Installing at this time and see no problems ahead.

These racks where purchased to carry two 9.5 ft kayaks on a Ram truck while towing a Fifth wheel. One year and 15,000 miles since purchasing these racks, with multiple removal /reinstallation's, in addition hauling ladders, paddle boards etc they are still like new.
carry my old town pdl 120 kayak on my 2014 Ram 3500 Crew cab dually. Heavy kayak. I'm a full time rider and sometimes travel hundreds of miles before stopping. Never had an issue. Front rack had a lot of wind noise but I wrapped paracord around it...problem solved. Worth the money!
Very well constructed and seems very solid on the roof. Dodge Ram 3500. Loader will be a big help as well.

I received the roof rack kit sooner then expected. Everything arrived in good condition. The installation instructions where ok and the install went well. This is my 3rd order from etrailer and it will not be the last there customer service is the best I have dealt with in a long time. I have also installed the front receiver hitch the install went well and I am happy with the product
The staff at etrailer are knowledgable of which product was needed for application. Very pleasurable on the phone. The rhino rack system was shipped in days.
Good quality and locks are included. The plastic lock covers are flimsy but they will keep an honest person honest.
The Rhino Rack system I purchased did an excellent job mounting up to my Ram 1500. Directions were off it seemed in dimensions for foot placement, but after manually adjusting, they work great and looks great with my roof rack!
This rack is a great product and has worked great for the kayaks I hauled across the country over the last year. Only things I can complain about is the extra wind noise with them on, and the lack of strap anchors. Otherwise, has worked great for me.
Worked and fit great. Now I just need a fairing to dampen the wind noise.
Product works as advertised on my 2016 Ram 1500. I used my old cross member and installed it on top of the cab to hold the front end of my tandem kayak. Awesome product.
Great system and works seamlessly with Thule Hulavator on 2018 Ram 2500. Bailey was a big help in putting the system together for me.

Rhino Vortex Aero Crossbars are truly excellent. I have a set on my 2013 Charger and a set on our 2017 Ram 1500. They're strong, solid, and have essentially no wind noise. I really don't notice the difference with them on or off as far as noise is concerned. As a canoe and kayak racer, these crossbars are on my vehicle almost constantly, and they've carried my boats all over the country. No complaints at all!
