Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom wiring harness. T-One connector plugs directly into existing wiring - no cutting, splicing or tapping required. Includes tail light converter.

  • Provides a 4-way flat trailer connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights
    • Compatible with 5-pole, 6-pole and 7-pole adapters (sold separately)
  • Connects quickly and easily - no cutting or splicing of wires
    • Locate connection points in trunk or rear cargo area
    • Plug in T-connector
  • Includes a tail light converter to ensure that your vehicle's wiring matches that of your trailer
  • Constructed of 16-gauge bonded wire
  • Comes with dust cap for 4-way flat connector

Specs:

  • Maximum amperage:
    • Stop/turn lights: 2.1 amps per circuit
    • Tail lights: 4 amps per circuit
  • 1-Year limited warranty

Installation

This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located inside your trunk or rear cargo area, behind the tail lights on both the driver's side and passenger's side. You will need to remove the trim panels to access this harness.

Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed in an out-of-the-way location within your rear cargo area

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Tail Light Converter

A tail light converter is built into this T-One connector. Because most trailers run on a two-wire system - wherein the brake and turn signals are carried on one wire - the separate brake and turn signals from your vehicle's three-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. The tail light converter combines the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.

This is the completed installation of the trailer hitch receiver on my Nissan Pathfinder 1999. It took me about two hours to completed the installation on both, trailer hitch and the wiring harness. All this thanks to the generosity of yours videos that make easy the installation.

Thanks again!

Happy client, J. Jorge

Let me start out by differentiating the retailer/seller (etrailer) and the manufacturer of the product (Curt). My dealings with etrailer has been fantastic. They did everything that I would have expected. They shipped the order, sent me updated information along the process. They are the ones reaching out for my response.

The problem that I had was with the manufactured product. It was a "Curt" hitch receiver for a 1999 QX4. I'm not necessarily upset with the Curt Receiver (per-say), but more so about the design. It did not fit my vehicle without modifications to the vehicle. I was able to install it and happy with the final result. However, the average person does not have the knowledge nor ability to make those modifications in this circumstance.
Just so that we are clear, I am not a licensed engineer suggesting nor advising anyone else to make the modifications shown in this video. Nobody advised me to make these modifications.

Hitch fit perfectly and the light kit made it a true plug and done install

Awesome price, very fast delivery, and super easy to install. Works like a charm.

The wire harness was installed in 20 mi nutes

by:

It was easy to install and the video was very helpful.

by:

The video tutorial was extremely helpful. Total installation time was minimal. Instead of pulling the wiring harness under the rear hatch, I ran it through the rubber grommet between the cargo area and spare tire so it could be mounted to the hitch itself. etrailer is the go to place for saving money by doing it yourself. Local company quoted me $476 out the door. I did it myself for less than $200.

The wiring harness was everything that I expected it to be. Being able to watch an installation video for my vehicle was priceless. Doing the installation was easy, and it works perfectly.

Received product a few weeks ago and finally found time (and courage) to install
the wiring harness. Your youtube video made the process painless. Probably took a
good hour or so as I was taking my time. Tested it with my trailer and it worked perfectly. Shipping was quick and price was very reasonable.

Excellent support site, and product. Support site reinforces the cable installation. Support site allows for internal installation. Is recommended to review the installation procedures prior to attempting the cable installation.

There is a way to install the connectors externally outside the cab that requires more drilling and routing.

Product is working excellent. No issues.

I was told that it takes 1/2 hour to install the wiring harnes, But It took me 1 1/2 hours to Install it on the SUV's Tail Lights, and I still have to route it around the Spare tire, which I have to Remove it, and route the wiring harness, and attach it to the bumber frame with a clip or clamp.
I had a hard time Unclipping the Tail light connectors, but Installing the new connectors was easy. The screw to hold the Module was too short, had to use a longer sheet metal screw.
I did call a local trailer Rep. to Install the harnes, but he Refused, due to it being an "Internet" product, he wanted to Install something that he Sells, and Installs. I did Save $50.00 by doing it myself, even doe it took me 2 hours.
Joe S.
PS: The Instructions could have been better written, on removing the Auto's Panels, to access the tail light connectors, and locating the rubber plug, to route the harnes trailer wire and connector. I' ve seen some autos with the harness run out of the back door Jams.

I ordered this wiring harness with the hitch I installed on my daughter's 2001 Nisson Pathfinder, and watched the installation video prior to installing it, and it was surprisingly simple to install. It took a little longer than it should have because I didn't really like the idea of running the trailer connector plug out the back door, so I looked for, and found a way to run it out the bottom of the vehicle through an existing hole. It was a tight fit but turned out to be a much cleaner looking installation. I'm very happy with this purchase, the price was reasonable, shipping was free and fast when combined with the hitch, and etrailer.com seems to have very good customer service. I would definitely buy from them again and would recoomend them to a friend.

by:

This wiring harness worked well for my 2000 Nissan Pathfinder! The video allowed me to install it on my own with no outside interference. Thanks!

by:

My order shipped very quickly. I was pleased at the ease of installation of your harness. The online instructional video was clear and very helpful. I've already recommended your company and products to several friends.

Thanks!

Installed Draw-Tite 75077 and wiring harness 118361 on my 2002 Nissan Pathfinder today. etrailer did a great job shipping and providing instructions and even had videos for both the hitch and wiring install. No issues with the install and I appreciate the great customer service.

by:
2003 Nissan Pathfinder

Love the product! No cutting, just unplug factory connectors and plug the harnss in. the harness is very well made, solid, good wire, the correct connectors, sealed. My only issue wasn't with the wiring harness, it was in gaining access in the vehicle to integrate the harness. Once installed it has been perfect.

by:

T-one Wiring harness: Shipped very fast. Product worked as stated. Took 1 hour to install, however you also have to remove taillights as there is not enough room to remove plugs as instruction states. Overall this was not a problem. Thanks for the product

Product was excellent! Easy fitment! Installed light harness and trailer hitch in an hour! Instructional videos made it a snap!
Great price ! Fast shipping ! etrailer will be my towing assecories go to for my business and personal pleasures!

by:

After studying the instructions I decided to have hitchs and more install the harness. They said I had purchased the best{same as they stock]. They couldn't beleive the price I paid, said they pay almost the same. any way 20 bucks was what they charged me and it was worth that to have installed. I beleive E-Trailer is the place to purchase your items. Thanks for the good sevice also.

by:

Etrailer.com is a working example of service excellence.
The web site is clear, precise, and easy to navigate. They have set a standard with their level of communication.
I looked for the part I needed in town but was told it would have to be ordered and take seven business days to arrive (to the store). I tried several other places before giving up. I placed my order with etrailer on Monday and it arrived (to my house) on Thursday. I installed it and was hooking up my utility trailer within an hour. It is a factory quality part and the instruction video (on the site) was extremely helpful. I will definitely do business with this service oriented Company again.

Thank you for making this a wonderful transaction!!
I am 100% SATISFIED!!!!

Charlie

Easy and straight forward installation.
Works
perfectly.
Good quality materials.
I was able to run the wire thru a drainage plug that was under the carpet. I then fastened the wire to the hitch for a more permanent application.

by:
Nissan Pathfinder

Nice clean installThis is a snap to install. The wires are a nice and heavy gauge and the picture on the order page shows you right where the plug is.

I installed and ran everything internally and the Pathfinder just pops apart back there. You can feel the plug for the tail lights on the inside but you'll still have to remove the tail lights like in the picture to actually work the plug.

Once it's done you don't even know anything has changed. The plug and wire store nicely in the hidden storage compartment under the carpet.

I was a little worried that the rear door would pinch or crimp the wires when in use but there is enough gap and insulation around the door that you can't even tell that the back door was closed on it.

by:

Fantastic Product ! Worth every penny. Very easy installation, anyone can do it . Anyone who trailers has to use this product, especially on todays cars with sophisticate and sensitive electrical systems !

Trailer harness I am very pleased with the quality of the products sold by etrailer.com. I have purchased several items an have not had a problem with any of them. The most recent purchase was a trailer plug for a pathfinder (bit of an odd ball one to find) and etrailer.com was the lowest price out of the limited retailers that even carried what I needed. The harness was shipped to me very quickly and I can not say enough good things about this retailer. Thank you once again etrailer.com we will do business again soon I am sure.

There could be a couple of issues with the trailer wiring on your 1996 Nissan Pathfinder. Since you have determine that the trailer lights work on other vehicles, we will need to look at the vehicle for the problem. My first instinct is that you have a bad ground connection. The CURT wiring harness you are using has a white ground wire with a ring terminal on the end. This ring terminal will need to be attached to a clean, bare metal surface.
