Question:
I have a harbor freight trailer that has a bent axle, I am trying to find a replacement and I think that the Dexter Trailer Idler Axle Beam with EZ-Lube Spindles - 60inch Long - 2,200 lbs will work, but I need the spring seats to be over slung. I need the extra height for clearance. Do you sell your axles with this option?

Expert Reply:
We don't sell the Dexter Trailer Axles # T20BTR-EZ-6048 with the spring seat on top of the axle so that it could be installed overslung. But, what you can do is get the # TRSS175 and then have a qualified welder install this spring seat on the top of the axle so that you could install it in the configuration you need to.
