Question:

Good morning, I have a 2006 Chev Crew cab, 8 ft. bed, diesel, C3500 duely. I need to add a Class five receiver. I would like to know how far it is from the bottom of the truck frame top or hitch frame to the top of the receiver hole on both the C15313 and C15312. Im concerened that the C15313 will end up closer to the ground than I want, and dont know if the C15312 will fit under existing bumber. short term problem The bumper on my truck is not the correct one for the year model. Tommy lift was removed and this bumper added just to sell truck. I will be removing this bumper and pickup bed soon to mount a flat bed, that will sit well above either hitch. My preferance would be the C15312 I think, but would rather not have to remove existing bumper yet.

I went out into our warehouse and measured both the Curt Hitches you referenced # C15312 and # C15313.

THe # C15312 measures 2-3/4 inches from the mounting flange down to the hitch opening and the # C15313 measures 5-5/8 inches.
