Question:

There appears to be a conflict in your QandA section for hitch 15312. This post indicates the distance from the mounting surface is 5.625: https://www.etrailer.com/question-590803.html While this post indicates that same distance for the same hitch is 2.75: https://www.etrailer.com/question-98924.html The pictures in each post seem believable for the dimension provided so I assume one of them is simply referencing an incorrect part number. Please correct whichever response is not correct. Anyway... I am looking for a hitch with the distance of 2.75inch and just caught this while searching. Thanks,

The confusion is that the two answer pages have two different hitches they are referring to. The # C15312 measures 2-3/4 inches from the mounting flange down to the hitch opening and the # C15313 measures 5-5/8 inches.

I attached a picture that has both dimensions shown on the different hitches.
