Recommended Trailer Jack for 23 Foot Fishing Boat

I have a 2001 23foot sea fox center sole fishing boat with a 1500 cc mercury engine. Will this jack at 1600 lbs lifting capacity have sufficient lift power? Thanks for your feedback before I decide about a purchase or suggest and appropriate jack for my boat.

When choosing a jack, you will want to choose a jack that can support the tongue weight of your boat trailer and a jack that has an appropriate lift height for your trailer. Typically, the tongue weight on boat trailers does not exceed 15 percent of the gross trailer weight. Be sure you verify the tongue weight capacity of your trailer before selecting a jack.

If you still have your old jack, you can go by the weight capacity and lift height of that jack to choose a replacement jack.

The Fulton F2 Swing-Up Jack, # F1413040134, that you referenced is a good quality jack. This is a bolt-on style jack with a lift height of 10 inches and the bracket can be adjusted up and down 8 inches to best fit your application.
