what can I do to aliviate condensation in the carrier?

A desiccant is a hygroscopic substance that creates or maintains a state of dryness. Common desiccants include silica, activated charcoal, calcium sulfate, and calcium chloride.
This is what most freight companies will use to prevent, "container sweat," like what you are trying to do.
