Question:
Greetings, I have a two place aluminum snowmobile trailer that I am replacing the decking on. I am using 5/8inch thick marine grade plywood, which is the same thickness as the OEM plywood. The OEM screws are T30 Torx 1 3/4inch long. I see that these screws are 1 1/2inch long. Will this be an issue? I have attached a photo of the OEM screws. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Thank you for the photo of one of the original decking fasteners from your aluminum snowmobile trailer. It appears your fastener has a taper at the point; but then again this might be erosion from exposure to winter road salts.
We do offer several lengths of Torx fasteners, including some specifically for ACQ-Treated wood, ranging from 1-inch (part # WLS100), 1-1/2-inch (# TF01150 that you referenced) to 2-1/4- and 2-1/2-inch lengths.
The key for your proper replacement size is the depth of the underlying trailer frame. You don't want to have less bite into the trailer frame than before, but if a 1-1/2-inch screw will reach far enough into the trailer structure then a slightly shorter fastener may be okay. Without knowing the nature of the frame's mounting point its hard to say. If you can fit a longer screw like the 2-1/4-inch # TF01225 without creating any hazard for clearance, then go for the longer fastener that provides the maximum thread contact.
If you need a Torx bit, we offer # TX430-1.
