This anchor has a sleeve that mounts under the D-ring to help prevent it from rattling when not in use. It lets you add an extra anchor point on your truck, utility trailer or enclosed cargo trailer to secure ATVs, UTVs, and other heavy cargo.

Note: Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the CargoSmart Anti-Rattle D-Ring Tie-Down Anchor. This D-Ring adds an extra anchor point for your trailer, truck, or van. It has this sleeve that goes under the mounting bracket, and it keeps the anchor point tight and minimizes rattling, so it does have a nice anti-rattle design to it.It's a simple bolt on installation. Mounting hardware not included, but it will accept 3/8th inch diameter hardware. It's made from a durable steel construction with protected finishing to keep it safe from rust and corrosion. A few measurements I want to go over with you real quick.
The usable space that it offers . I measured inside edge to inside edge going side to side. I got a measurement of an inch and a half. From the top of the bracket to the bottom of the D-Ring, I got 1 and 3/8ths of an inch up and down. The D-Ring diameter is 3/8ths of an inch.
This, right here, is our mounting bracket. The mount holes on the bracket are separated apart from one another on center by 2 and 1/2 inches. The bracket itself measures 3 and 11/16ths by 1 and 3/16ths inches.The unit features a safe working load limit of 1,667 pounds with a maximum load, or break strength rating, of 5,000 pounds. Just keep in mind that tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit, so the weight of the secure cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the anchors being used.That's going to do it for today's look at the the CargoSmart Anti-Rattle D-Ring Tie-Down Anchor.

Product exactly as described, good quality, light duty tie down ring for flat bed trailer. Easy mount
Heavy duty product for its size, for those of you who would like to know the bracket thickness like I did, it is .155" and the d-ring is .390 to .400 thick. I would have rated it at 5 stars but the backside of the bracket has to be filed/ground do to poor stamping. It will not sit flat on the anti-rattle clip.
Top quality and perfect size for utility trailers. Installed correctly they do not rattle.
Price was great and they look great. I use these to hold down my big motorcycle in a trailer. The others I replaced were rusting and ready to break. This product looks much stronger and will last the life of the trailer for sure. The price was great.
Very strong and sturdy product. I love the fact that it doesn't rattle as you drive down the road. Mounting is easy and the product allows maximum versatility to add tie downs where you need them. When I purchase my next trailer these will definitely be an addition.
Well made and strong tie downs that do not rattle! After a year of having these on my trailer I have been extremely happy. Use these on all four corners of my trailer to tie down my Side by Side. Never had a worry when traveling down the road.
The CargoSmart 3/8" Anti-Rattle D-Ring Tie-Down Anchors are the perfect solution for tying down my ATV to my wood deck utility trailer. The size is perfect and the stowage capacity of 1,667 lbs. is well more than adequate to keep the load secure. The plated finish will also keep them rust free for many years. They are a Great Value.
Great quality product at a good price, just what I was looking for. The 2-1/2" hole centers allows me to bolt the d-ring over the 2"X 4" steel tube in my cargo trailer floor for a very secure anchor point. The anti-rattle clip is awesome. Great purchasing experience and follow up.
I like them but not long after installing one of the springs that are under the D ring broke in the middle. Now that one lost it’s anti-rattle. I thought about seeking replacement but figured shipping would be a deal killer. The other three tie-downs? I like those a lot.

So-so. The springs that hold the D rings in place are prone to break and fail. Then, its just another tie down anchor,but you paid more for it.

They worked great! They were zinc coated already but I spray painted them with a good exterior paint to match the color of the trailer
