It’s working great !!

Still holding fast ,no problems.

by:

I wanted exact replacement screws for the trailer repair I was making, and etrailer was only one of 2 places that had this screw. I did not need that many, the other place required that I by a box of 100. I appreciate being able to buy a reasonable quantity with a reasonable shipping cost. Thanks.

by:

Screws worked great. I was a little sad that the head was smaller than the oem I removed. Had the head size been larger it would have been perfect. That said, the liners in my horse trailer are holding just fine, I just had to use more screws.

by:

Just what I needed, thank you

by:

Did not have to use these screws after all. We're able to use old bolts. I'm sure they would have worked fine if needed. Thanks for your help in getting them ordered.

by:

Product arrived as described. Excellent communication and follow-up. A pleasure to do business...

by:

Worked as expected.

by:

They’re good screws but a bit pricey.

  • Tips On Repairing A Trailer That Has Loose/Stripped Screws
I recommend replacing the old/loose screws with the same style of screw it has currently. If you're going to be adding more screws, I would still stick to what you currently have. I'm not sure what hardware you have currently so I won't be able to provide a recommendation, however I do recommend using some type of adhesive sealant. I recommend using some fast cure 3M 5200 Adhesive Sealant. This will cure rock solid in about 48 hours, so you won't have to worry about the screw backing...

  • Availability of a White-Headed Wall Screw for a Cargo Trailer
We have several wall liner screws such as # WLS100 (1-inch) and # TFX225 (2-1/4 inch) to name a couple. Unfortunately, none that are white-headed at this time but you could paint over the head with a hard enamel because it air dries to a hard, usually glossy finish. I included a link showing you all of the wall screws we currently offer.

  • Recommended Screws for Installation of Plywood on Enclosed Trailer Wall
The 1" Long Black Torx Wall Liner Screw # WLS100 is the best option for the plywood installation. These screws are fine thread and made for metal studs. They have a tapping edge but often a starter or pilot hole should be drilled. You can then use the Torx Head Screwdriver Bit for WLS100 Wall Liner Screw # TX425 to snug the head flush.

  • Screw Recommendation for Securing E-Track to Metal Plate Under Trailer Floor
That is going to depend on the thickness of the floor on your cargo trailer. I attached a link to a page that has all of the self tapping screws you could use for E-tracks. You will want to select the length you need from the filters on the page and the correct length screws would be listed. There are screws from 1 inch to 2-1/2 inches in length like the # TFX250ACQ.

  • What Bolts Are Needed For Installing T-Strap Hinge # PLR2008-SSP on a Trailer?
Based on your picture it appears your trailer currently uses some screws like the 1" Long Black Torx Wall Liner Screw # WLS100. I do recommend verifying the correct bolts needed with the trailer manufacturer as the T-Strap Hinge # PLR2008-SSP you found may require a through bolt and nut depending on how your trailer is constructed. You will likely need to source that hardware locally to find the correct length.

  • Self Tapping Screw Recommendation for Installing Exterior Light on Trailer
Self tapping screws like the part # WLS100 which has a Torx head or a part # FA1131822 which is a hex head style bolt would work well. We don't normally see people seal the lights to the trailer as most light assemblies are a weather proof or waterproof design and don't require it. For a sealant we recommend the # 0160297 for sealing trailer roof vents. This would work well for a light assembly as well.

  • How Does A-Frame Trailer Tongue Tool Box Mount to the Trailer Frame?
The RC Manufacturing T-Series Trailer Tongue Toolbox - A-Frame - Steel # 313-TM362016M is just the steel box. Most people drill into the bottom of the box to hold the box to the trailer frame with self-tapping screws like # WLS100. You can weld it if desired, but that is not how most choose to attach the box to their trailer frame.

  • Recommended Hardware to Attach the Full Size Locking Steel Flush Door Latch
The Full Size Locking Steel Flush Door Latch part # L3980 can be mounted with a variety of different types of hardware. As you mentioned, pop rivets or carriage bolts would be the most secure. You could also use something like the Long Black Torx Wall Liner Screw part # WLS100 as torx bits are more of a speciality tool. The correct bit for this screw is part # TX425. If you have a metal door you could weld it on as well.

  • Fasteners for Attaching Marine Plywood Decking to Snowmobile Trailer
Thank you for the photo of one of the original decking fasteners from your aluminum snowmobile trailer. It appears your fastener has a taper at the point; but then again this might be erosion from exposure to winter road salts. We do offer several lengths of Torx fasteners, including some specifically for ACQ-Treated wood, ranging from 1-inch (part # WLS100), 1-1/2-inch (# TF01150 that you referenced) to 2-1/4- and 2-1/2-inch lengths. The key for your proper replacement size is the depth...
