Cruise Control Stopped Working after Tekonsha P3 Installation

Question:
Hello, I installed the P3 on a 2010 Toyota Sienna. I double and triple checked the wiring and everything is OK. The problem is now the Cruise Control doesnt work. The Cruise Control light stays on steady as it should when I turn it on at the same time the brakes are applied, and will stay on steady as long as the brakes are applied. But as soon as I release the brakes the Cruse Control light blinks and wont work. This is without a trailer connected. Ive tried everything I can think of. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh and by the way the trailer brakes seems to be working fine when using the P3 and the P3 doesnt give any errors when pulling the trailer. So Im fairly sure everything is hooked up properly. The only issue is the Cruise Control doesnt work!

We have seen this issue before and when cruise control functionality gets affected after a brake controller install the problem is the stoplight switch wire that was used for the installation of the brake controller.
Basically the red wire of the Prodigy P3 Brake Controller # 90195 that you referenced isn't installed on the correct circuit. You want to find the circuit on your brake switch that only sees voltage when the brakes are applied.
I attached an FAQ on brake controller installation from scratch that you may find helpful.

The harness purchased for 2008 tundra for P3 worked 2 years until it gradually ruined my cruise. I replaced cruise control but the issues with telonsha persist.
