Why Did Cruise Control Stop Working after Brake Controller Install on a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500

Question:
I recently hooked up a brake controller to my 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 pick up truck and my cruise control stopped working what do you think the problem is?

It sounds as if you have the red wire from the brake controller attached to the cruise control wire that is connected to the brake pedal switch. This wire will need to be moved to a different wire on the brake pedal switch.
The red wire on the brake controller is the only wire that is tied into the braking system so this is the only wire that could affect the cruise control.
On your 2011 Chevy Silverado you will want the red wire of your brake controller attached to the light blue or orange wire of the brake controller wiring bundle under your dash.
