Question:
Hello, I have a 2016 Winnebago Micro Minnie with Dual Axles. As I am repacking my bearings for the first time Purchased Used - 2025, I am 3rd owner, the brakes are looking pretty rusted and have seen better days. As I review new backing plate w/brakes and hubs with bearings, the number of options is dizzying, and I am in analysis paralysis. On one passenger side backing plate I found a label with PN: BK-122450RH. What are some cost-effective options for new brakes with hubs? I have put 6000 miles on trailer this year and expect similar in next couple years. I look forward to your response. Thanks.

Hey thanks for reaching out, Chris. That part number BK-122450RH comes back as a standard 3,500 lb 10" x 2-1/4" brake assembly. We do have a great cost-effective option for replacing those. Here is what I recommend:
- Terran Industries Electric Trailer Brakes - Self-Adjusting - 10" - Left/Right Hand - 3.5K # TX97ZJ
This comes with a pair of self-adjusting brake assemblies. They will be direct bolt-on replacements. I also suggest grabbing new hardware # BRKH10B since it sounds like yours may have seen better days.
For the hubs, you most likely have a standard 3,500 lb axle, since that would match up with the brake size, but I'd love to confirm this. The best way to do that is with the casting number on the front of one of your drums. If you can provide that, I can pull up your axle and bearing info and be absolutely sure you get the right thing.
If it is a 3,500 lb axle like I suspect, part # TX68VJ is what I recommend for the hub. This comes pre-greased plus you get a grease cap and lug nuts.
Shoot me that casting number from your hub and we'll get your squared away.
Any trips coming up soon, or are you done for the season?

Hi. The cast number for the drum is 126003. These recommended drum assemblies look to come pre-greased with seal, correct? Do they include new castle nut & washer or is there a recommended PN? Our camping season is done, and my trailer is being put away for the winter. Recent warm weather has allowed me time to pack the wheel bearings and other maintenance items, to hit the ground running next season. Luckily, this has also allowed me time to really look at the brakes hence the questions. Thanks.
