Question:
I have a 2017 Yamaha Kodiak 700 4x4 that I use for hunting and working around the property. I'm thinking about getting this Black Boar plow for my driveway, but I don't want to spend a bunch of time taking everything apart when I need the ATV for something else. Can I leave the mounting brackets on year-round and just remove the plow? I would also need to add a winch

Hey Kevin!
Yes, the Black Boar Snow Plow # CAM54FY is a good option for your 2017 Yamaha Kodiak 700 4x4 as long as the front frame tubing is accessible for mounting.
One nice thing about this setup is that the plow attaches to its frame mounting bracket using two locking pins. You can disconnect the winch cable, pull those pins, and remove the plow assembly while leaving the mounting bracket attached to your ATV. It only takes a couple minutes and maybe an extra set of hands.
Since you don't have a winch yet, I'd recommend the Bulldog Winch 2,000-lb ATV Winch # BDW15001 with the Custom-Fit Winch Mount # BDW15185, which fits your Kodiak. Just make sure there aren't any aftermarket accessories interfering with either mounting location.
You can leave the winch installed year-round too, which is handy for other tasks.
Do you do much riding on rough trails with your Kodiak? Or just hunting and work around the property?
