Recommended AC to DC Converter that Will Work w/out Batteries

Question:

I am interested in using the ProNauticP 1230P, part PM74ZR as a dedicated Power Supply, to convert 120VAC to continuous 12VDC for my houseboat. it is always docked and has no batteries. by ing PS during setup, is this a good choice for a dedicated Power Supply?

Unfortunately you can not Paul but I have a solution. To convert 120VAC to continuous 12VDC for your houseboat, you'll need the PowerMax item # PM54VR. When plugged into shore power, it’ll convert AC power to 12V DC and run your lights, fans, water heat, and other 12V loads directly via the DC fuse box.

The PowerMax item # PM54VR is rated for 35 amps of output. You will need to set the internal mode selector to Fixed Voltage. This keeps the voltage steady and prevents the unit from searching for a battery or cycling through charging stages.

We also have the PowerMax converters in higher amperages item # PM34VR 45 amp, item # PM94VR 55 amp, item # PM44VR 60 amp, and item # PM84VR 100 amp.

The ProMariner ProNautic 1230P Battery Charger item # PM74ZR has to be connected to a system that has a battery even in the PS or Power Supply mode.
