Keep your 12V system charged and ready without adding another maintenance task. This 30-amp, 3-bank onboard marine battery charger delivers controlled multi-stage charging and long-term battery care, so you're not troubleshooting before launch.
When one battery bank is drawn down more than the others, fixed-output chargers can leave the system uneven and harder to trust. Distributed-On-Demand technology automatically senses demand and directs available charging amps to any one bank or across multiple banks as needed. On a 3-bank system, charging stays focused where it's needed, so you're not second-guessing which battery is going to lag behind.
Batteries that sit without proper maintenance lose capacity, and that usually shows up when you're expecting everything to be ready. This unit cycles through Charge, Condition, Auto Maintain, and Recondition stages to keep batteries at proper levels between trips. After 21 days in maintain mode, it automatically de-sulfates to restore lost capacity, so you can leave it connected and come back to batteries that are ready to work.
Multi-bank systems are only as reliable as the charging profile behind them. This charger includes 12 selectable profiles and supports Flooded, AGM, GEL, Lithium (LiFePO4), and Calcium batteries with custom settings available. Matching the correct profile keeps charging behavior consistent across the system, so you're not dealing with uneven performance between banks.
Not every dock or marina delivers consistent power. This unit includes selectable power levels that let you reduce AC input to 100%, 75%, 50%, or 25%. That keeps charging stable in low-power situations without overloading circuits, so you're not managing breakers just to keep batteries charged.
Charging issues are easier to catch when you can see what's happening in real time. The digital information center displays system voltage and amperage, while built-in fault indicators alert you to wiring issues or adverse conditions. You can quickly confirm output and spot problems before they turn into dead batteries.
Charging shouldn't depend on having perfect power conditions. This unit uses 100-240 VAC input at 50-60 Hz with power factor correction and auto-ranging input, so it works across a wide range of shore power setups. That keeps charging simple whether you're at home, at the dock, or traveling between locations.

Hi everyone, Stephen here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the ProMariner Pronautic 1230P battery charger. So if you're running multiple batteries on your boat, you know that keeping them charged properly can be time consuming, especially if you're constantly swapping out different chargers are dealing with batteries that never seem fully ready for the next trip. So let the Pronautic 1230P simplify the whole process. This is a 12 volt 30 amp three bank onboard marine battery charger designed to automatically charge and maintain up to three batteries. You got the connections down here.
You take this face cover off with these two Phillips screws, and then you'll be able to put those battery cables leading to your batteries on there. And then of course, we got the onboard screen. I'm gonna leave it zoomed in here so we can kind of see this a little better while I'm talking. This is gonna get permanently mounted onboard. It's great for solar mower setups, cranking batteries, house and accessory batteries.
And with this, again, being permanently set up, you simply plug in the boat after a day on the water. This is gonna automatically manage and charge everything up to three banks without you having to worry about swapping anything out. And to me, one of the standout features is the smart digital charging technology that's inside of this. It automatically adjusts charging based on the battery condition and the battery's demand. So that's gonna help improve charging efficiency while also support longer battery life.
It has been designed obviously for harsh marine environments. It's a water resistant and vibration resistant construction, so it's strong and it's gonna be made for real world boating conditions. So again, a compact footprint. It comes in at about 10 and 1/4 inches tall, eight and 1/2 inches wide, and about three and 1/2 inches thick or deep depending on how you have it set up. And over here on the side, you got your communication cable connection, there we go, and then you got the cable here included.
So it's a nice little unit. This is the Pro Mariner Pronautic 1230P. I'm Stephen with etrailer. Thanks for watching and have fun on the water.
