Question:

I need a Dexter 2 5,200, 6 lug, Hub with outer bearing LM67048. The 6k outer bearing is a totally different bearing 15123. I currently have a mix matched Dexter Torflex axle. One drum is 6K and 5,2K from the factory. Only discovered recently when trying to have a backup set of bearings. My travel trailer is has 2 axles. All the other bearings are for a 5,2K. 5,2K outer size is 59.1212mm and 6K is 61.999mm. both fit a 42 spindle. All drum have stamped 8-201. Your product list as 5,2 and 6K. Bearings for 5,2K are LM67048, 6K 15123. Not interchangeable. Thanks

Hey Vernon! The different outer bearing on the # TRU38AV isn't actually a problem as far as the spindle is concerned. The # LM67048 and # 15123 both have the same 1.25" inner diameter, so either will fit the outer bearing surface on your spindle. The difference in outer diameter only determines which hub the bearing fits into.

That said, since the rest of your hubs use the LM67048, I would use the Dexter Hub and Drum Assembly # 8-201-5UC3-EZ. This has a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern and is rated for 5,200 lb axles. Since this uses the LM67048 outer bearing it will keep the bearings consistent across all four hubs.

What kind of travel trailer do you have and where are you headed once you get the hub replaced?
