Question:
I have a 2023 Ram 2500 with the puck system. I have a BW companion hitch model 3600. Pulling a Grand Design fifth wheel series 150 reflection. The camper is nose high, I have about 8.5 inches at the front over the bed rails and 6.5 inches at the back bed rails. The hitch is set at its lowest mount setting. My question is does BW have a shorter A-bar head support bars that will allow me to lower the head about two inches to level out the trailer? If not what are my options to correct the issue?

Hi Rusty,
B&W doesn't offer shorter pivot/A-support arms for the Companion to lower the hitch even more. Because you have 6.5" of clearance at the rear, I wouldn't recommend lowering the hitch any further because it could reduce that clearance and under 6", which is what we recommend for safe towing.
Instead, I think your best option is to raise the trailer itself to correct the nose high issue. There's a couple different ways you can raise try and raise it, the first being if there are unused mounting holes on your pin box you can move the bolts up to lower the trailer's nose when on the fifth wheel. Or you can use a lift kit like the Correct Track Tandem Axle Lift Kit part # RR23QX that can raise the axle by 1 1/4" or 2 1/4". To get a full 2" of lift you'll need an additional single axle kit part # LC87120 as well. The Correct Track is not compatible with MORryde CRE3000 equalizers, so if you have those and raising the pin box doesn't work please let me know so we can figure something else out.
What pin box do you have on your Grand Design Reflection 150?
