Why Wouldn't Hitch for 2021 Mazda CX-5 Have Flanges that Line Up Properly

I bought a hitch for my Mazda cx-5 2021 and it didnt fit. The mounting brackets on the hitch are 12 centers and didnt fit because the mounting holes on the Mazda are 15 centers I need to know if your hitch is 15 and will work. Thanks

Hey Ricky, it looks like the other day you ordered the etrailer part # e98902 which is a confirmed fit for your 2021 Mazda CX-5. This will fit and match your vehicle but what most likely happened with the hitch you already tried is that it got bent in shipping. This is somewhat common but especially so when the hitch has larger outboard flanges like this one. If it were to somehow happen again you can bend it back and as long as the metal doesn't crease it will be just fine.
