Updated 08/13/2026 | Published 08/09/2026

Question:

I have a 2017 Lance Travel Trailer model 1685 with BAL type C stabilizing jacks. Will these SnapPads work for me? The photo attached is exactly what I have. No plates attached to the bottom. Thank you.

Welcome back Linda and thanks for the pic! Unfortunately, the SnapPad SnapJack item # SN44VR are not going to work with your BAL Type C stabilizing jacks because the mounting tabs are too narrow.

The SnapPad item # SN39FR are the only options to add jack pads to your BAL Type C jacks. They require the Base foot pad for C-Jacks part number 23200 that we do not carry. These are 5-1/2" square jack feet that are specifically designed for your leveling system that we do not carry. The SnapPad item # SN39FR attach directly to them.

Without the jack feet installed on your BAL Type C jacks, I recommend the Lippert Leveling Blocks item # LC54UK. This is a 10-pack of portable pads that measure 8-1/2" long x 8-1/2" wide x 1-1/2" tall. They're stackable like Legos and come with their own carrying case for convenience.

I attached a couple of pictures below so you can see the Leveling Blocks item # LC54UK in action.

What kind of ground do you typically park on when you're camping in your Lance trailer? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.
