Question:
We have the Lippert electric tongue jack with a 9inch round foot that we have an RV SnapPad attached to so its about a 10inch diameter. Can the Weigh Safe Flap Jack Folding RV Stabilizing Block be used under this setup? We find that often the tongue jack doesnt extend far enough to reach the ground on its own without a block and have been using a piece of 6x6 wood.

Hi Laurie! It's nice to hear from you.
The Flap Jack part # WS63ER is a great option with your setup, even with the SnapPad, just with a little awareness during use. Since your SnapPad brings the foot to about a 10 inch diameter and the top of the Flap Jack is slightly smaller at around 9-1/2 by 8-3/8 inches, you’ll have a bit of overhang. In real world use, a lot of folks (in the comments below) are using this combo and doing just fine, they just make sure to center it well and take a little extra care on uneven or softer ground. As long as you’re mindful of placement, it can still be a stable and reliable setup.
If you want to be on the extra safe side and avoid the overhang, the Stromberg Carlson Base Pad Extreme, part # SC88VR. Is designed to work with jack feet up to 10 inches wide, so it pairs really well with your SnapPad and gives you a more secure, centered base. The pad itself is about 7 inches tall, so it helps make up that extra height you’ve been needing without overextending your jack. It doesn’t fold up like the Flap Jack, but it’s a big upgrade over using a wood block and gives you a stable and reliable footing for your jack.
This is a really solid solution that keeps things simple while giving you better support. Are you usually setting up on more level sites, or do you find yourself dealing with uneven ground pretty often?

I have a Lippert Smart Jack with a SnapPad attached to the foot, and I use the Flap Jack under it all the time. There is about an inch clearance between the Flap Jack and the SnapPad on level surfaces. My jack must have a smaller foot because the SnapPad is not as large and the Flap Jack. The actual Flap Jack is a pretty stable support so I wouldn't worry about the 1" or so difference in diameters, although you will have to make sure you have the Flap Jack positioned uniformly under the SnapPad on your setup. Collapsing and storing the Flap Jack is easy and quick, setup is foolproof.

The Flap Jack works for me, but like everything else it may not be perfect for everyone or every situation. It’s a fairly new product introduced into the RV accessory world and it certainly has its purpose. However, like a gentleman mentioned it’s probably not a smart idea to use on a less than level surface because of the material or the design of it. In my humble opinion, it works perfectly under my jack that does have a snap pad on the foot and I’ve been fortunate to generally be on level surfaces.

I use 5 flap jacks under the tongue jack and the stabalizing jacks. They work just fine. I like that they fold up and require minimal storage space while traveling.

I have the flap jacks and it works great I have Four of them and they are flat on top and bottom so I don’t see where it would be a problem. My rear jakes are the big foot style and they do hang over just a bit but they are stable as any other jack stands that I have tried. Easy storage
