Availability Of Adjustable Cart For Transporting Heavy 5th Wheel Hitch
Updated 08/12/2026 | Published 08/06/2026 >
Question:
I seen a YouTube video about B and W 5th wheel hitch by etrailer. The person had the hitch set on an adjustable cart to slide in/out of a truck bed. Not having to manually lift the unit. Id be interested in knowing what type of cart is available from you. Thanks

Hey Al, thanks for reaching out. We do carry the B&W 5th wheel hitches, but I believe the cart you are referring to is just a display cart we use here at our will call office. It isn't a part we have available for purchase. If I am not mistaken, we got that from B&W originally, but it isn't an off-the-shelf product they offer.
That said, we can definitely provide you with a hitch.
What truck do you have?

I currently own the slider version and have previously owned the non slider version…they are both great hitches and are super easy to operate. My only complaint is the slider version is very heavy. I can’t deadlift it into the truck by myself. We use a rolling utility shelf which is about tailgate height. To slide it in an out. If you need the use of the truck bed for other projects..keep this mind as it is not really portable die to its weight. Non slider version is lighter. I have a std bed 2500…,have not used the slider….thats my two cents..cheers

Al i have the slider version and I have found that if you remove the head portion that has the two pins that it makes the base much lighter together in and out of the p/u bed. As well it gives you a chance to put lithium grease on the rocker points. Love the hitch.

I use a hand truck and four wheeler ramps to roll mine in and out of my Denali. You certainly don’t want to pick it up. In the garage I have it sitting on a furniture dolly and roll it into a corner.
