Is The Curt C24 5th Wheel Hitch Compatible With A Rota-Flex Pin Box?

hello, just a question, i have a curt Q24 5th wheel hitch and was looking at a trailer with a Curt ROTO-FLEX kingpin but i noticed that they are not compatible.is that because they BOTH have the flex systeminch instead of only one or the other having that system? thank you for any information that you might have. mike piveral

Hey Mike, thanks for reaching out. The whole Q-series line of hitches like the Q24 cannot be used with Rota-Flex pin boxes like part # LC328329 or with rotating pin boxes. This is mainly because the pivoting system in the pin box works against the pivoting system in the head which can lead to the hitch failing prematurely. Those Q-hitches just aren't designed to handle that additional movement.

From here, your options would be to replace the pin box on the camper, or get a different 5th wheel hitch like A Curt A-series or B&W hitch.

What truck do you have? Does it have a factory puck system, or in-bed 5th wheel rails?
