How to Have Hitch Installed on a Travel Trailer with a 78 inch Wide Frame

Question:
Is there a way to mount the hitch on a travel trailer with a wider frame? My frame is 78inch wide.

Expert Reply:
The widest frame width the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch part # 13703 will fit is 72 inches. This is measured from outside to outside of the frame members. For a hitch on your RV you will have to have something fabricated up by a qualified welder.
