I have a Roadmaster Falcon 5250. That I will use to flat tow my 08 Chevy Avalanche. Is it ok to use that tow bar without using the “quick disconnect bar”?? Or does it provide some kind of stability for the bar.? Thank you Mark Johnson

Welcome back!
Whether you'll need the Roadmaster Quick Disconnect Crossbar Assembly # 910021-00 depends on the type of base plates installed on your vehicle.
If you have a crossbar-style base plate, such as # 3154-1, you'll need the # 910021-00 to connect your Roadmaster Falcon 5150 tow bar to the base plates. If your vehicle has a direct-connect base plate, such as # 3154-3, the Falcon tow bar pins directly into the removable arms, so the # 910021-00 is not required.
As I mentioned before, if you need any further assistance getting your Chevy Avalanche ready to flat tow, please let us know.

Hey thanks for the quick reply. I appreciate that. I am moving a previous tow bar I had to the new to me Avalanche. The tow bar had the Quick release bar. I have purchased from etrailer the Roadmaster 3154-3 bracket kit. I’m happy to hear I don’t need that cross bar. ???? By chance do you have any pictures of a set up on any Ava’s. The grill and bumper cover is different then a trucks and I’m working on whare to put my air and electric connections in the grill. ( I have a second vehicle break kit) Thanks again for your help. ??
