Can Furrion Chill Cube of Brinkley Model i265 Get Moved to Bedroom and Cube Install in Living Room

My wife and I have a Brinkley Model i265 with a factory ducted Chill Cube in the living room and a non-ducted bedroom A/C. Im considering moving the factory Chill Cube to the bedroom and installing a new 18K Heat Pump Chill Cube in the living room. Can the relocated Chill Cube in the non-ducted bedroom also be controlled by a wired wall thermostat, or is it limited to the ceiling controls and remote? If only a remote, what is the best option for controlling the furnace as well since the current setup controls both the furnace and the bedroom ac. Thank you

Hey Scott, this is a great question but if you move your Furrion Chill Cube to your bedroom and use it as a ducted setup you can't use a wall thermostat with it. You have to use the ceiling controls or the remote. To do this you would need the new air distribution box part # LC44DX.
Then you'd leave the living room air box in place and go with the upper unit Furrion Chill Cube Variable Speed part # FR37TQ and you'd be set. So I have to mention too that the Chill Cubes just don't like to work with furnaces quite yet so you will also need the furnace thermostat part # DMC84RR to run that. So you'd have one wall thermostat for the Cube and another for the furnace. The Brinkley Model i265 looks really awesome though! I hope you are enjoying it!

Hi Jameson, Thanks for the detailed response—I really appreciate it. One follow-up question: are there any other thermostat options you would recommend for controlling just the furnace? The Dometic thermostat you mentioned would certainly work, but I was hoping to find something with a more modern appearance that better matches the interior of the Brinkley. If there are any compatible alternatives, I'd love to take a look at them. Thanks again!
