Question:

I would like to know what the ball mount is for this.I did find a bulletproof ball mount.You guys sell, and I believe it said the holes were one and a quarter inch on center three quarter inch.What ball mount can I put with this equalizer weight distribution sink?I pull in a closed trail with a dump truck and im trying to get away from the truck a little bit Attached is two pictures of the current setup I use at two inch.Now I have a dump truck that has a two inch receiver or a two and a half inch receiver.So I dont mind, im probably gonna go with a two and a half, but a little bit extra capacity, but if you could guide me to what I can put on the end of this shank, to get a two and five sixteenths ball, which its always gonna be that size

Thanks for writing in! I'm glad you found us, and thanks for getting back to me with the trailer weight. Since your trailer is around 15,000 lbs, the 10K option I originally recommended is not going to work for your setup.

I was able to get confirmation that the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank - 2-1/2" Hitch - 16" Long - 7" Rise, 3" Drop # FA78FR can be used for towing without the weight distribution head. You can pair it with the Replacement 2-Ball Platform for BulletProof Hitches Adjustable Ball Mount - 2" and 2-5/16" # 358REPLACEMENTBALL. I also pulled both parts from our warehouse to verify they fit together correctly, like a glove!

If you'd rather go with a 2" shank, I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank - 18" Long - 8" Rise, 4" Drop - 600 to 1,400 lbs TW # EQ90-02-4600 along with the etrailer Magnetic Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeve - 2-1/2" to 2" Hitch - 5" Long # e28JR to adapt your 2-1/2" receiver down to a 2" receiver.
