Looking for Ventadome RV Roof Vent Lid

Question:
I ordered the ventline VD0434 in Sept 2024. a recent hail storm destroyed. More importantly its brittle and just falling apart. I have a vide if youd like to see it crumble into pieces. Something wrong.

Hey Dustin, the replacement lid you ordered a few years ago was the part # BVD0449-A01. I know it sucks yours fell apart but these aren't really designed to withstand a hail storm so I am not shocked yours broke apart. Would you prefer metal lid setup?

The plastic vent covers also will not hold up very long to sun exposure, that is what makes them brittle. I suggest replacing every few years if it's not under a cover or go with the meatal option.
