Kuat Dek Platform with Light Bar and Ibex Overland Truck Cap for 2026 Toyota Tacoma

Published 06/17/2026

Question:

Hello, Im researching cab and bed cap options for a 2026 Toyota Tacoma Offroad, 5 bed. I am leaning towards the KUAT product line and am looking for some guidance in product selection. Im interested in the KUAT DEK platform with light bar, the KUAT IBEX OVERLAND truck cap solid panels and raised cross bars that would mount on the IBEX to match the Dek platform height. If you have any suggestions or recommendations, Id greatly appreciate the help. Thank you kindly! Adam

Hey Adam, the correct Kuat DEK Platform rack with light bar for your 2026 Toyota Tacoma would be the part # KU73SR. The correct Kuat Ibex Overland Truck Cap then too would be the part # KU99SR that you referenced. Now the top of this would be lower than the Dek platform as it would match the height of your cab. Are you wanting to put an additional platform on this to match the height of the Dek that would be on the cab of your truck? Or were you just wanting a set of crossbar instead up there.

Jameson, Thank you for your response. To clarify, I'm interested in adding two crossbars on top of the Kuat Ibex Overland Truck Cap so they would be on level with the KUAT DEK platform. I'd like the option to carry/strap down XL items (such as 16' lumber), on top of the bed cap and roof rack and have them rest level during transit. If you can provide an option for "building up" the height on the Kuat Ibex Overland Truck Cap, that'd be grand. Cheers, AF

@AdamF to add an additional crossbar you would need the part # KU54GR for the feet of the rack and then for crossbars part # KU62VR. You'd need two of the # KU62VR.
