Is this curt brake controller suitable for electric over hydraulic brakes on a 2023 gmc 3500hd with factory 7 pin wiring and brake controller

Unfortunately, it is not Mike but I've got a better option that will work with electric over hydraulic brakes.
For your 2023 GMC Sierra 3500, I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness item # RED52VR. This is a similar style of brake controller that has a hidden control unit and small adjustable knob. It is compatible with electric over hydraulic brakes and standard electric brakes.
To get the Tow-Pro Liberty item # RED52VR installed, you can use the included universal harness and the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter item # C51525. Redarc doesn't make a custom fit connector for your 2023 GMC Sierra 3500 but you can cut the black Curt end off of the item # C51525 and splice it into the universal harness included with the Tow-Pro Liberty item # RED52VR. This will give you a custom fit adapter that will plug in directly behind your factory brake controller. The wires are color coded with the same functions.

I'm considering an upgrade to the deemax disc brakes system but have been told by deemax that the 2023 GMC 3500HD factory brake control does not support electric over hydraulic systems.
