Cant figure how to unlock and lock it. Why no instructions?

Hey Frank, thanks for reaching out. Yea those InfiniteRule Trailer Latch Locks # IR42FR don't come with instructions, but I can provide some general instructions for you.
To unlock it, flip open the rubber weather cap, insert the key, and turn it until the locking pin releases. Pull the lock body out of the Demco eZ-Latch coupler and raise or lower the latch as needed. The lock is designed specifically for the stamped Demco 2-5/16" eZ-Latch coupler, so it should slide in and out smoothly when the latch is in the proper position.
To lock it, close the Demco latch completely, line up the holes in the latch mechanism, and insert the lock body through the coupler. Push it fully into place until it clicks and locks, then give it a tug or "test pull" to verify it's engaged. Remove the key and close the rubber cap to keep dirt and moisture out of the keyway.
