Very heavy duty. This appears to be a high quality product. This should deter all but the most determine thief. It's going to take some serious tools and serious effort to get this off without the key.
Just received the Coupler Lock today. Fits very well on my 2 5/5/16's coupler. It is a pretty nice unit and seems to be well made. Looks and feels pretty heavy duty. A little pricey but, I am very pleased with it.

A year later and the tongue lock is still holding up very well. I am really pleased with this purchase. If you are looking for a secure trailer tongue lock, look no further. This particular lock should fit your needs as it has mine very well.
This BulletProof Extreme Duty Coupler Lock is just what I needed for security on my new vacation trailer. It far exceeds a similar type lock that I had on my utility trailer.
Very strong and theft proof! I wish I would have had one of these hitch locks on one of my boat and trailers that was stole two weeks ago. I don’t think the thieves will be able to cut this lock off like the other regular kind of lock that I had used on the stolen boat and trailer.
This thing is well worth the money. Heavy duty very good fit well made and excellent materials. Would definitely recommend this to anybody with a Demco hitch.

The lock is built solid and should be a fast theft deterrent. I have owned and currently own several other brands of trailer locks and this one is by far the most robust and secure.
