Question:

It didn’t look like the acclaim tow bar was listed on the description to be compatible with the adapters. Was it just left out or will these not work with that towbar?

Hey Jeremy. The Blue Ox Off-Road Bumper Adapters for 1" D-Rings item # BX88358 do not work with the Blue Ox Acclaim item # BX4330 car mounted tow bar. They only work with motorhome mounted tow bars like the Blue Ox Alpha item # BX7380.

The Blue Ox Alpha item # BX7380 has a 8,500 lbs capacity and comes with the required safety cables. This tow bar fits a 2" hitch and has telescoping arms and a swivel head.

What kind of motorhome or vehicle are you using to pull your Jeep Tj and do you need any other flat towing parts?

I’m towing it with a 94 f350 with a camper on it. I’m using a torklift hitch extension. I bought the trailer motorhome tow bar but sits a good 6 inches below the mounts on the jeep. The jeep is lifted with an aftermarket bumper. I’m trying to avoid going from the extension to an adapter to raise the hitch receiver to the motorhome towbar. The hitch mount towbar would eliminate the raising adapter where I can just put a lifted hitch on it

@JeremyP Not to pile on with more bad news, but you can't use a high low adapter or an adjustable ball mount with additional receiver slots with a TorkLift extension either. I do not have or know of a solution that's going to get your Jeep level with your F-350's hitch and the TorkLift extension.
